Things are definitely getting more interesting in "Grey's Anatomy" season 12. In fact, the latest spoilers of the series hinted the introduction of a new cast member while some of the current cast venture into dating.
The previous "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 spoilers dropped a revelation last week about April Kepner's pregnancy after her divorce with husband Jackson Avery. Fans also saw the brewing romance between Maggie Pierce and Andrew DeLuca.
This week's "Grey's Anatomy" spoilers, however, will be dropping some details on the upcoming episodes of the long-running ABC series. So, here are 5 latest scoops Shonda Rhimes' hit medical drama.
1. "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 13
In this week's episode, the Grey Sloan Memorial doctors will found themselves in a middle of a confrontation when the team traveled to a military hospital to perform a risky surgery on a veteran. According to ABC, Major Eric Thorpe (Scott Elrod) will be questioning the team for subjecting his patient to an experimental and precarious operation.
Newly-divorced Jackson, on the other hand, will be caught having a "flirty" encounter with one of the military hospital's staff member, Captain Emily Vaughn (Sarah Jane Morris). For the synopsis of the upcoming episode titled, "All Eyez on Me," please read below.
"Several of the doctors visit a military hospital to perform a risky operation on a veteran," the synopsis read, as per TV Guide. "Meanwhile, Andrew grows to dislike the secret nature of his and Maggie's romance; Ben makes a hasty surgical decision; and cheerleaders cause chaos in the ER."
2. Episode 14's "Odd Man Out"
"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 14 titled, "Odd Man Out, will premiere on Mar. 17. The said episode will have an interesting twist as guest stars Rita Moreni (Gayle) and Casey Wilson (Courtney Hall) appear on the episode, CarterMatt hinted.
In addition, fans will also see as Arizona joins the dating realm. Meredith, on the other hand, will finally choose to move on after husband Derek's death.
"Richard swaps pairings among the residents and attendings, baffling everyone," episode 14's synopsis read. "Meanwhile, Arizona makes a bold decision as she treats a woman who's carrying quadruplets; and April faces a tough choice."
3. Meredith is finally dating?
In "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 15 titled, "I Am Not Waiting Anymore," fans will see Meredith as she finally considers dating again. As a matter of fact, actress Ellen Pompeo revealed that her character will start to date in the next few months, Unreality TV noted.
The episode will also show Jackson's reaction to April's pregnancy, which was kept a secret for four episodes, Wetpaint revealed. The interesting installment will air on Mar. 24 and for the synopsis, read below.
"Jackson learns about April's pregnancy, while Alex and the team of doctors handles an hours-long triple-organ transplant surgery," the synopsis read, CarterMatt quoted. "Meredith considers dating again, and Andrew insists on not receiving special treatment after he and Maggie go public."
4. Meredith and Alex's romance
In the previous episodes, fans saw that Meredith might be having some feelings towards her best friend Alex, Design & Trend reported. Alex, on the other hand, is yet to hear a "yes" to his proposal from girlfriend Jo.
Avid "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 fans, however, are eager to see Meredith and Alex as a couple. In fact, TVLine recently revealed that almost 40 percent of the fans are open to the idea.
5. Wilmer Valderrama joins "Grey's Anatomy" cast
Valderrama is set to appear in the current season of the series. Variety has learned that he will be playing the role of Kyle Diaz for multiple episodes and the first one will come in April.
