"Selena would give anything to be in a relationship like Taylor and Calvin's," an insider said. "To have this type of commitment and respect for each other would be a dream for Selena.
"She has been very supportive of Taylor and Calvin's relationship and was the first to wish them Happy Anniversary," the source added, as per International Business Times. "Their relationship gives Selena hope that she will one day have the same thing and that one day she will find her soul mate."
So, is Selena Gomes seething with jealousy over Taylor Swift and boyfriend Calvin Harris' relationship? Well, Gossip Cop said that Gomez is not "insanely jealous of Swift's love life, claiming the reports were "false" and "designed as clickbait."
Meanwhile, Calvin Harris has definitely ended Taylor Swift's "celebrity maneater" reputation. According to News.com.au, Swift's ongoing relationship with Harris is quite a surprise since her previous relationships were only short-lived, lasting only for no more than three months.
Swift was also highly-criticized for her several flings to many male celebrities including Jake Gyllenhaal and Harry Styles. But after worrying about her reputation, the "Bad Blood" hitmaker finally ditched her flings and decided that her next boyfriend should be "the one."
"Taylor was so paranoid about her public image that she gave up dating guys," a source close to Swift reportedly said, as per The Sun. "She didn't want to be known as this needy, heartbroken girl who jumps from one man to the next. Before releasing 1989 she decided she was ready for a grown-up romance and that the next boyfriend would be for life."
