Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds recently depicted the role of a happily in love couple when they attended a White House state dinner to honor Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The couple's latest sighting came weeks after reports claimed that they're facing some marital issues.
"Gossip Girl" alum Blake Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds definitely turned heads when they made their grand entrance at a White House event. According to Daily Mail, Reynolds' stunning wife got everyone's attention when she flaunted her toned physique and long legs while wearing plunging neckline Ralph & Russo silk grey gown with center slit.
At the White House state dinner on Thursday, Reynolds, who hails from Vancouver, Canada, and his 28-year-old wife were not the only celebrities who attended the event. Popsugar revealed that other Canadian stars such as Michael J. Fox, Mike Myers and Sandra Oh also welcomed Trudeau and his wife Sophie while singer Sara Bareilles performed at the event.
Meanwhile, the state dinner was the first event of U.S. President Barack Obama's final and the first hosted by the White House for Canada in almost two decades. Us Weekly revealed that the two leaders talked about trade, environmental and security issues.
As for Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, the recent event was actually the couple's third time that they're spotted hitting the red carpet together since their daughter James' birth in January 2015. Other sightings of the couple were during the "Deadpool" premiere and the amfAR New York Gala in Manhattan.
Speaking of the amfAR New York Gala, it was the event that started the rumors about Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' marital issues. As previously reported, the 39-year-old "Green Lantern" actor reportedly got "furious" when Leonardo DiCaprio attempted to get his wife's attention at the charity event.
"Every time Blake was in Leo's line of vision, he was winking at her and grinning," a Star Magazine source said, as per Celeb Dirty Laundry. "Ryan was furious and told Blake not to even look in Leo's direction, but she couldn't help it!"
While the latest reports claimed that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds might be heading for splitsville, their recent White House sighting showed that they are very happy together.
