Harry Styles 2016 Latest News: 1D Singer NOT A Part Of ‘Scream Queens’ Season 2 Cast

The latest news on Harry Styles confirmed that the One Direction member will not be a part of the "Scream Queens" season 2 cast. The official Twitter account of the show made the announcement on Sunday.

"Sorry for any confusion, but as much as we love @harry_styles he will not be joining the #ScreamQueens Season 2 cast," the "Scream Queens" tweeted. There were speculations that the One Directioner will be joining Fox's thriller series.

HollywoodLife.com reported "Scream Queens" executive producer did confirm that they were looking for three "hunky doctors" for season 2. Although Styles would have fit the bill, he will not be part of the cast.

Rumors were fueled further when "Scream Queens" season 2 cast Lea Michele dropped Harry Styles' name in an interview with InStyle. "I also heard a rumor that [series creator Ryan Murphy] may, I don't know if this is true, but he said at a press thing recently that he is talking to a male pop star to come for next year," she said.

"If it's Harry Styles, everybody better calm down. I love One Direction. Everybody knows this. I'm also thinking that he should be in the 'Wicked' movie. He's our modern day Mick Jagger."

The "Scream Queens" season 2 actress also gushed about her co-stars Nick Jonas and Ariana Grande. Emma Roberts also starred in the series as sorority head Chanel Oberlin.

"Nick was so funny on the show this year," the "Glee" star said. "Obviously, Ariana is hilarious. Ariana is such a great actress. Nick was just so funny with that Joaquin Phoenix beard. He's walking around saying everyone thought he was Joaquin Phoenix. So funny."

CDL noted that "Scream Queens" season 2 cast Kiki Palmer and Emma Roberts also wants Harry Styles in the show. Fans have even created photoshopped photos of promotional posters for the upcoming season of the series.
