Harrison Ford ‘Indiana Jones’: Actor Gearing Up To Reprise His Role? Is He Too Old To Play The Part?

After his stint in the "Star Wars" franchise, fans have been wondering if Harrison Ford will be laying low and hitting retirement in his senior years, but it looks like he'll be doing the opposite.

It seems that "Indiana Jones" has been taken out of the treasure chest by Steven Spielberg. The famous director and Ford are said to be reuniting for a fifth "Indie" installment. According to Forbes, the movie is scheduled to premiere in Jul. 19, 2019. By that time, Ford will be 75 years old.

It is not known if Ford will be doing his own stunts such as wielding his handy whip, slinging from one branch to the next and grabbing his favorite hat in the last second everytime a stone door falls down when he escapes. Whatever the case may be, fans will be treated to a more mature Indiana Jones, a feature which some Twitter users fancy. Currently, he still has the energy to do a few more movies. He is now filming a "Blade Runner" sequel as stated in the same Forbes article. It sounds like retirement is not in the picture for the tenured actor just yet.
