The latest 2016 news for Charlie Hunnam and Morgana McNelis involve the actor calling out fans who bullied his long-time girlfriend on social media. Moreover, the "Sons of Anarchy" star may have confirmed their marriage plans in his rant.
Entertainment Weekly reported that the 35-year-old actor posted a message to his female fans who don't like his girlfriend Morgana McNelis. Hunnam took to his Facebook page to share his thoughts on the social media bullies.
"I have no social media so I have asked my good friend and long-time supporter Tina Lou to post this message for me," the actor stated. "It has been brought to my attention that there is a group of immature girls posting a large number of hard messages aimed at my long-time girlfriend."
"I would respectfully ask you to stop doing this. She is an intelligent, beautiful, kind person who just tried to live a simple life and has nothing to do with the entertainment industry. If you want to talk s--t, talk s--t about me, leave her out of it."
The "Sons of Anarchy" star expressed his disappointment at "these negative and totally unprovoked attacks [that] appear to be coming from the people who call themselves [his] fans." There were some who did not believe that the "Pacific Rim" actor actually created the post but he clarified things with a video last Mar. 5, according to Mail Online.
Charlie Hunnam and Morgana McNelis have been together since 2007. However, in his message, the actor posted that he has spent 11 years of his life with her. Furthermore, the most interesting part was when he admitted his future plans with his lady love.
"This is a girl I love very much and have spent the last eleven years of my life with and hope to spend the next sixty years," Hunnam revealed. "She has been my loyal and supportive partner long before I had any success or money. Why would you attack her out of admiration for me? It makes no sense."
