After the much-anticipated premiere of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" at Radio City Music Hall in New York on Sunday night, lead actor Henry Cavill is making headlines. In fact, it's not his role on the film that has become the talk-of-the-town, instead his colorful love life.
Ever since Henry Cavill took the titular role of Superman in "Man of Steel," the 32-year-old British hunk quickly become one of Hollywood's most-talked about heartthrob. And proof to that was how the media sensationalized every aspect of his dating life.
Now, Henry Cavill's romance to his 19-year-old girlfriend Tara King has been under intense scrutiny. The reason? Well, let's just say the relationship has been raising eyebrows due to the fact that King is 13 years his junior.
Aside from that, King has also been recently compared to Cavill's previous young ex-girlfriend, Marisa Gonzalo, whom the "Immortals" actor dated when she was 21. And according to Celeb Dirty Laundry, history could be repeating itself, hinting the possibility that the relationship might end badly.
King, who's a Bristol University student, met Cavill at a London nightclub called Mahiki, two months before they were seen together at the Rugby World Cup in Twickenham last October. Since then, she became an over Internet sensation.
Many avid fans and showbiz onlookers alike, however, are intrigued if how long will the relationship last. But as per the "The Cold Light of Day" star, his girlfriend might be young but he insisted that she is mature for her age.
"People say age is just a number," Henry Cavill candidly told Elle magazine. "It's actually real and true sign of someone's maturity. But in this case, she's fantastic... When I met my girlfriend, I was super intimidated. I wanted to impress her. I was thinking, 'Don't mess this up, man.'"
It's really been obvious that Tara King has captured the heart of Henry Cavill. And many are hoping that she's indeed the right one for him, not to mention the last time that the "Batman v Superman" actor dated Gonzalo, who was much younger than him, ended badly due to her hunger for Hollywood fame and attention.
Tara King, however, doesn't seem to have a huge appetite for the limelight. And the last thing we've heard about her was the alleged jealousy she felt towards Henry Cavill's costar Gal Gadot, another Celeb Dirty Laundry report claims.
