iPhone SE Vs. iPhone 6S Vs. Samsung Galaxy S7; Apple’s Newest Device Better Than Premium Phones?

The battle between the iPhone SE vs. iPhone 6S vs. Samsung Galaxy S7 is a tough one. However, Apple's newest device is reportedly able to fight head-to-head with the specs of premium phones.

According to BGR, Apple's latest 4-inch gadget is "so powerful that it will blow the Galaxy S7 out of the water in performance tests, just like the iPhone 6s." It has the same hardware as its predecessor but has a smaller screen size and resolution as well as an older Touch ID sensor version.

AnTuTu has confirmed that Apple's iPhone SE specs does include 2 GB of RAM. It also has the same A9 chip as with its 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6S counterparts.

The publication discovered that the iPhone SE vs. iPhone 6S vs. Samsung Galaxy S7 have the same scores in terms of chip performance. Although the S7 has an octa-core chip and 4GB of RAM, the iPhone 6S still defeated it with its A9 chip and 2 GB RAM.

Apple's iPhone SE appears to be a flagship device with a more compact body. Moreover, BGR added that it is a smartphone that can best any 2016 Android flagship handsets, in terms of performance, for a lower cost.

Newsweek reported that the Galaxy S7 and the iPhone 6S both have 12-megapixel rear cameras and 5-megapixel front cameras. A key difference is that Samsung's device has a battery capacity of up to 3,000 mAh while the iPhone 6S only has 1,715 mAh.

It was also revealed that the S7 has an IP68 rating. This means that the device can go in waters as deep as 1.5m for up to 30 minutes. Apple's outstanding offer is its 3D Touch, though, which provides users with improved functionality through the pressure they exert on the screen.

Pre-orders for the iPhone SE began on Mar. 24. The phone will be available on Mar. 31.
