Competition in the world of smartphone making is definitely getting intense and HTC One M10 would be one of those that will be hard to beat. In fact, latest reports claimed that HTC's new flagship smartphone can deliver better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5 and Samsung Galaxy S7.

As HTC finally announced that HTC One M10 is set to be unveiled next month, rumors have it that the smartphone's release date will follow. And since HTC One M10 will soon be available in the market, here are 3 interesting things that you need to know about the upcoming flagship smartphone of HTC.

1. HTC One M10 Specs

HTC One M10 will feature a 5.1 inch 1440 x 2560 QHD display with AMOLED technology. It would run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Sense 8.0 UI on top. According to N4BB, the device will also feature Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 graphics.

In addition, HTC One M10 would have 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which would be expandable via a microSD slot.

In addition to the aforementioned specifications, HTC One M10 would also have a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. The new HTC flagship smartphone is also equipped with a 12-Ultrapixel camera with laser autofocus and optical image stabilization.

While the mexapixels of its front-facing camera remains unknown, it will also include OIS. It will also have a 3.5 mm audio jack and a single speaker grille along with USB Type-C port.

Other HTC One M10 features would likely include a fingerprint sensor, front-facing BoomSound speakers and IP68 water-resistance certification.

While HTC has officially revealed that it will be announcing the HTC One M10 smartphone on Apr. 12, International Business Times learns that the new flagship smartphone will be released on Apr. 15. IBT also revealed that its early AnTuTu benchmarks showed that HTC One M10 can outdo the performances of Samsung Galaxy S7 and Xiaomi Mi 5.

Meanwhile, a MediaTek-powered HTC One M10 would also be launched in Asia. And Venture Beat reveals that the HTC device will be called "Perfume" but it will be sold under the name HTC One M10.
