iPhone 6 Release Date, Larger IGZO Retina+ Display and A7 Quad Core Processor

Rumors are encircling that there are many iPhone 6 prototypes "appear to be floating around," as posted by iPhone 6 analyst Peter Misek from Business Insider.

The next big jump for the iPhone would likely arrive with a release date in 2014 after the foreshadowed iPhone 5S (with S standing for Security) that may feature fingerprinting technology to help the government transition from their blackberry endorsement.

Apple's CEO Tim Cook has mentioned that no new iPhones will be launched before the end of 2013.

Misek claims that the iPhone could be equipped with a Retina+ display, even more bright and shows pictures and video, sharper and more vivid than ever before. News have been circulating that one iPhone 6 prototype features a 4.8 inch display similar to Galaxy S III.

The larger display would mean redesigning the iPhone to be more like a "phablet". However, the 18 to 24 month period would very probably give Apple enough time to create another attractive, world-enticing device.

The A7 quad-core processor will likely feature higher speeds and enhance the iPhone's multi-tasking technologies, allowing for more fluid gaming and media playback.

The speculated "iPhone 5S" may come with a plastic casing, much like the MacBook unibodies that appeared a few years ago. It is theorized to have a 4-inch display, dual core processor, and an 8-megapixel camera.
