Amazon Kindle Oasis Premium E-Design Leaked

New reports are claiming that there have been leaks showing Amazon's latest Kindle's, Oasis, premium design.

Jeff Bezos founder and CEO of Amazon announced last week of an "all-new top of the line Kindle" was on its way for launch, according to Independent. Images of the Kindle Oasis apparently has been leaked all over the web including Amazon's Canadian site and a Chinese online marketplace.

The design of the Oasis is a bit different than the previous Kindles. It holds a large wedge on the side that would make it easier to grab the device in hand. The front side of the device next to the wedge includes two vertical button for turning the pages. It has a built-in weight sensor for the screen to rotate automatically depending on how the device is being held.

According to Reddit, the Oasis looks to be 20% lighter than previous version which weighs in 131 grams. The device is also at its thinnest at 3.4mm while on the wedge side is at 8.5mm.

Same as the Kindle Voyage, the Oasis gives out a high-definition display at 300ppi, and a bulky battery on the side wedge that could offer plenty of time to read. With the leather charging case, Oasis's battery life can provide long lasting power. The device also includes a new sleep mode, and a flipping cover that will automatically turn on and off the device.

The photo of the new device first leaked at a Chinese retail website called Tmall.com, unfortunately it was hastily removed. But another Chinese website, Kindle Fere, showed another set of leaked images of the Kindle Oasis.
