Job Fairs at Prestonsburg Campus, Camden County

There will be two separate job fairs, among the many others, that are happening across the United States of America. These job fairs are happening on April 19 and 20, respectively.

The Camden County's 2016 Spring Job Fair will take place on Tuesday at the BB&T Pavilion, 1 Harbour Blvd., Camden, from 9 o'clock in the morning until 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

There will be more or less 100 employers and companies participating in the said event, offering jobs of different nature and fields, NJ.com reports.

The event is made possible through the cooperation of the Camden County One-Stop Resource Center. Aside from the job fair, job-seeker workshops will also be offered.

"This is a great opportunity for employers to gain access to a local ready and willing workforce," said Camden County Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. "We encourage anyone in the job-hunting process to take advantage of this free event."

Some of the companies that will be participating are 151 Foods, ACCU STAFFING SERVICES, Comfort Keepers, Goodwill Industries of Southern NJ, ITT TECHNICAL INSTITUTE, MAXimum Research Inc., and N.J. Dept. of Military & Veterans Affairs.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, another job fair will be held at the Prestonsburg campus of BSCTC and will run from 10 o'clock in the morning until 3 o'clock in the afternoon. More than 20 employers will be offering several jobs during the event.

This particular job fair is made possible by the cooperation of Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC), the Kentucky Coal Academy, the East Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program, Inc. (EKCEP), Big Sandy Area Community Action Program and Kentucky Career Center, Floyd County Times reports.

"This is a great opportunity for anyone who is seriously looking for work," Grimm said. "We're thrilled that we have so many employers that are participating and actively seeking qualified workers," Sandy Grimm, a career advisor with Big Sandy Community Action Program, said

Among the companies that will be in attendance include Appalachian Regional Healthcare, Manpower of Central Kentucky, Buffalo Wild Wings, Calgon Carbon, Bob Evans of Paintsville and Pikeville, Carl D. Perkins Job Corps Center, Highlands Regional Medical Center, Mountain Comprehensive Care Center, U.S. Bank, Teleworks USA, and United States Penitentiary - Big Sandy.
