Apple Wants More Profits, Forthcoming Release of Next Version of OS X Named as ‘MacOS’

It stands out that owing to the desire and goals for stability, Apple aims on implementing innovations and upgrades for its products and services. It is anticipated that the forthcoming release of the next version of OS X would be named as MacOS and is predicted to generate more revenues for the company.

Even though it is maybe a mere branding change, it is forecast to bring about change and alterations for the company's goals and objectives. According to Tech Crunch, "Apple SVP of Worldwide Marketing Phil Schiller first hinted at this change last year at WWDC in an interview with John Gruber. Then a configuration file mentioned macOS instead of OS X. And finally, a page on Apple's own website said MacOS instead of OS X to describe Apple's environmental initiatives."

Looking back, this is not the only time that Apple has made changes to names and brandings. When the successor of Mac OS 9 was first announced, it was called Mac OS X and Apple dropped the "Mac" part in 2012 and at the same time, Apple wanted to differentiate the device from the software element such as the iPhone OS became iOS in June 2010 as iOS runs on iPhones and iPads, according to the same report.

Apple's aims for dominion is constantly marked by unexpected innovations and state of the art upgrades. Even its other products such as the Apple Watch is set to bring new alterations and upgrades, as reported by Jobs & Hire.

Given the forthcoming release of the next version of OS X named as MacOS, it still remains uncertain and unsettled for Apple until the product hit the stalls and consumer awareness and preferences are voiced out.
