Houston Flooding Shuts Everything Including Businesses

Houston is bracing for the worst scenarios. Owing to the rising flood waters and the region being flooded, everything including businesses, shops and other ventures has shut down.

A former post from CNN has revealed the gravity of the threat, the report noted, "At least five people have been killed in flooding. This is a life-threatening emergency. Houston residents should avoid travel at all costs today." The swift rising of the waters led to graving threats and dangers for the people of Houston and with the businesses closed and shops decapitated, the people of Houston are at vital risk.

The natural calamity has propelled businesses and enterprises to evaluate their strategies and their trades. Given the high loss, and with nature brawling with such high force, it is inevitable that abrupt changes and marketing strategies be implemented.

On a different aspect, the report further validated the present circumstances and to prove the latter, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner said "There's flooding in every part of Houston. We will rescue you." At least 1,000 homes were flooded in Harris County, according to Emmett. Some people were trapped in their homes or attics, fire department spokesman Ruy Lozano added.

Luzano further stated, "The water was too deep for crews to reach them in high-water vehicles, so rescuers were trying to get to those people in boats." As fop the other regions, the storm snarled traffic at Houston's Hobby Airport, where nearly 200 flights were canceled by mid-afternoon, based on the airport's offical Twitter account.

More report from The Washington Post cited, "It is not an overstatement to say this was the Houston region's worst flooding event in nearly 15 years, since Tropical Storm Allison deluged the upper Texas coast and dumped in excess of 30 inches of rain over parts of the city," wrote Eric Berger.

With the dangers on the horizon, Houston's citizens await and hope for nature to quite down and in turn return to their normal lives and businesses can trade as usual.
