Fans saw a slimmer and trimmer Christina Aguilera on the finale episode of "The Voice" Tuesday night.
Aguilera, 32, wore a tight black skirt and cropped see-through silver top over a hot pink bra, bearing her midriff as she sang "Feel This Moment" with rapper Pitbull. She topped off the sexy outfit with a pair of black and silver pumps and big diamond earrings. Her gorgeous blonde locks were curled over her shoulder, and her makeup consisted of smoky eye shadow and nude lips.
The famous pop singer made a grand entrance by entering on a raised platform to a screaming crowd as Pitbull had already began to rap. The stage was illuminated with multi-colored lights, giving the set a disco vibe. Aguilera seemed to falter at certain points of the song, hitting a few flat keys along the way and occasionally touching her earpiece, but her new body more than made up for the minor flubs. All eyes were on her far skinner frame.
Aguilera's slimmed-down body is a drastic improvement from her previous figure. Last year, sources told Us Weekly Magazine that the insults of critics motivated her to lose more than 20 pounds. A friend said, "A lot of people were on her about her weight and it depressed her... She went through a bad time because of the criticism."
So, how exactly did the singer manage to shed all the weight? Sources say Aguilera enrolled in a 1,600-calorie-a-day Fresh Diet program, which offers a variety of nutritious food options. "She did it all on her own," said a source, "She goes online and picks out her food."
Early in her career, Aguilera always maintained a slender figure. It was not until after her divorce from Jordan Bratman in 2010 that her weight began to balloon. Friends say she had gained 40 pounds through eating junk food and living a life of excess. It seems like those days are over. Aguilera has made quite the comeback with her new body!
