Verizon Falls While AT&T Rises, Is This The Repercussion Of The Union Workers Actions?

It is irrefutable that the union workers taking their dismay into the streets have affected Verizon's operations and other ventures. Also, the troubles that have affected Verizon are giving rise to other ventures strengthening its business presence such as AT&T.

According to Benzinga, AT&T Inc. disclosed that it invested nearly $1.5 billion in its Ohio wireless and wired networks during the year 2013-2015 and the company stated that these investments drove a wide range of upgrades to reliability, coverage, speed and overall performance for residents and businesses."

It appears that the investments of AT&T for its telecom service are also designed to render improvements for m critical services that support public safety and first responders.

AT&T said that in 2015, it made over 680 wireless network upgrades in Ohio. The company indicated that it added new cell sites, increased capacity, as well as speeds to the current sites, and expanded the band of radio frequencies used on many towers, reports the same post.

Meanwhile, AT&T's Speaker of the Ohio House, Ciff Rosenberger, commented, "In order for Ohio to continue to thrive, it's imperative we have companies that invest through thoughtful innovation. AT&T is making on-going investments in its fast, reliable network. With this, our residents and businesses have the tools to compete and grow."

The company's President for Ohio region, Adam Grazybicki, said, "We're committed to providing our customers fast, reliable, highly secure connectivity. We want them to be able access the Internet at any moment, from almost any device and anywhere. Our continued investment in Ohio brings a host of new, innovative opportunities for residents and businesses."

Jobs & Hire additionally mentioned that Verizon had to deal with the global issues as well when the union workers went global in their resistance to the management's ways.

As Verizon deals with the nationwide issue, AT&T is busy improving its business segments. As for the notion that the union workers are the cause for Verizon falling legacy is not fully substantiated.
