Johnny Depp - Amber Heard Divorce Update: Court Documents Reveal Alleged Abuse

According to Amber Heard, their entire marital relationship has been verbally and physically abusive. Court documents detail the alleged abuse by husband Johnny Depp.

Details regarding the alleged domestic abuse and violence claims, Amber has filed, has been attached in her application for divorce. Recently, a Los Angeles judge ruled a temporary restraining order against Depp because of her claims. According to the Huffington Post, when Heard filed for a divorce against Depp, he hit her in the face with a mobile phone, pulled her hair and verbally abused her. The court filings were obtained by People and other media sources.

In her sworn statement, she said: "During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny Depp has been verbally and physically abusive to me." She went on to add that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor had a short fuse and is often paranoid. She ended her declaration signifying she was afraid. In the court documents, a recorded altercation was stressed between the two on Saturday, May 21. The event cited was when Amber Heard was entertaining friends at home and then Depp returned. He appeared to be under the influence of a substance as she described him to be "high." He was also quite paranoid as he was allegedly accused of obsessing over something untrue when it came to the recent death of his mom.

With the court filings, she also submitted a photographic evidence that supports her domestic violence claims against her husband. In response to her claims, Johnny Depp's attorney, Laura Wasser, countered that Heard is falsifying abuse claims in order to secure "a premature financial resolution."

As of yet, there is no recorded or requested criminal investigation looking into the claims of domestic violence and abuse. However, a scheduled court hearing has already been set for June 17.
