Gigi Hadid Assaulted in Milan; Ukrainian Reporter Responsible?

Gigi Hadid was reportedly been assaulted by a stranger as she was leaving MaxMara fashion show in Milan, Thursday.

PageSix reported that Hadid was grabbed from behind and was lifted into the air. She was with her sister Bella Hadid and they just got out of a fashion show and was walking towards their car. The 21-year-old model, however, was able to defend herself by elbowing the man.

According to People, the Hadid sisters were making their way to the car while surrounded with fans. As soon as Gigi broke out of the crowd, a stranger got past the security and sneaked up behind her. He grabbed her around the waist, lifted her into the air while groping her from behind.

After the incident, Hadid talked with her security and wrote about the incident on her twitter account ," I'm a HUMAN BEING - and had and had EVERY RIGHT to defend myself. How dare that idiot thinks he has the right to man-handle a complete stranger. He ran quick tho."

In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, former Ukrainian television reporter Vitalii Seduik claimed responsibility for the incident. He lives in Europe after having been banned from entering the United States due to a nuisance he caused Brad Pitt in the Los Angeles premiere of "Maleficent" back in 2014.

Seduik mentioned that he considers Hadid as beautiful, but that the likes of her and Kendall Jenner "have nothing to do with high fashion." Sediuk added that the act was a protest to the fashion industry to "put true talents on the runway and Vogue covers instead of well-connected cute girls from Instagram."

Hadid is now safe from harm, all thanks to her excessive boxing and alertness, she proved that she's no damsel in distress.
