‘Dead Rising 4’ News & Update: Gameplay Overhauled But Frank West Back at Willamette Parkview Mall; Fans Disappointed Over T.J. Rotolo? [VIDEO]

"Dead Rising 4" comes back with Frank West headed to a familiar place, Willamette Mall, to hunt zombies down.

In the recent trailer released by Microsoft, the game is set at Willamette Parkview Mall where a number of new weapons were included in order to halt chaos. According to gamers who have seen the game, West coming back to the mall seems not to be a surprise at all since this is where he has previously blown up a number of zombies with his innovative weaponry. However, unlike his previous experience, the numbers of zombies he will be dealing with is doubled and even upgraded with higher level of attack tolerance than before.

Furthermore, it can be observed from the trailer that the familiar streets of Willamette and the town will be largely explored. In fact, the game becomes more intense since the characters that are needed to be saved are not just separated by few stores, but rather many blocks and claustrophobic streets densely populated by zombies. Also, many believe that the game developers have made major overhaul on the game, especially on the gameplay and features.

On other news, many fans expressed their dislike via YouTube comments that the original voice actor for Frank West, T.J. Rotolo, will not return for "Dead Rising 4." They even started a campaign on Change.org to have him back, but it does not seem that it will make any change in the game.

For those uninitiated, "Dead Rising" was originally released ten years ago. It revolves around a survival of the citizens from zombie outbreak. Players play the character of Frank West, a journalist who goes anywhere to find for the latest scoop; however, he transforms into a savior of the people when zombies arrive in groups while getting to the roots of everything.

According to reports, the game will be released on Xbox One and PC before this year ends.
