The costume resembles the original design seen on comics with a striking head to toe masterpiece. Heard's look is the similar design that has been known and praised by comic fans and brought to reality by designer Michael Wilkinson.
In an interview with ET Online, Heard excitedly tells about the details of her costume, "It's interesting. It's like, half suit of armor, half scales," the 30-year-old actress said. "It's strange... We're in the process of building it now, so it's coming along."

Playing supporting role as Aquaman's wife, Heard confirmed she will also be a part of "Aquaman" movie in 2018 where she will play a more important role. Jason Mamoa will play the role of Aquaman, in the comic movie "Justice League" and the upcoming movie "Aquaman" in 2018.
"Justice League" team has just recently wrapped up filming in UK and has headed in Iceland, where director Snyder took photos he shared including Mera's character revelation.
Willem Dafoe, who plays Vulko, and Gal Gadot, who portrays Wonder Woman was spotted. Ben Affleck will start filming in Iceland for his scenes as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Comicbook.com reported.
While the movie's plot should be kept secret, reports says that they will be filming main shots in Iceland with Batman and Wonder Woman will have to meet Aquaman and gather more superhero.
"Justice League" will officially come to battle on Nov 17, 2017.
