Nike and Apple teamed up to create the Apple Watch Nike+ Edition and it will be available on October 28.

The watch will start shipping on October 28 as the Cupertino-based company added the release date of the watch to its website.

Tech enthusiast might recall that Apple announced this collaboration with the sporting apparel giant during the September launch event of the iPhone 7. It was released alongside the normal Apple Watch Series 2.

The Apple Watch Nike+ boasts of the same hardware of the Apple Watch Series 2. The watch will share the same built-in GPS and 50-meter resistance rating. A feature that will apply to those who wants to swim while using their smart watch.

What buyers of the Apple Watch Nike+ will get that the normal watch won't have is the Nike Run Club app which will come with the package? The preinstalled app will enable users to track their runs, compete and share information online with other runners, and get some pumping up in their workouts with daily encouragements. The app would also aid you in creating a running schedule that would fit your lifestyle.

The watch will also come with four exclusive Nike Sports Band color combos like Flat Silver and Volt, Black and cool gray, white and flat silver, and black and volt. All of this will make the watch a bit more unique than the normal Apple Watch variant.

Nike and Apple hope to capture the sporting market with the Apple Watch Nike+. As Apple's chief operating officer, Jeff Williams has stated, "Apple Watch is the ultimate device for a healthy life and we wanted to push it further to create the best smart watch in the world for runners and athletes."

The watch will retail at $369 for the 38mm version and $399 for the 42mm one.
