Elon Musk To Test Spaceship Going To Mars; Foresees A Possible Explosion

When someone says that he wants to send people to Mars, it is almost a certainty he will be called a crackpot; But when that someone is Elon Musk, the world definitely should hear him out.

Elon Musk has shared his grand plan to get a lot of people to Mars. His reasoning is to make sure that humanity has a back up in case some sort of apocalypse befalls the earth. Think of Mars as some sort of internet cloud database.

And Musk did not just think or was quoted out of the blue. He actually did an hour-long presentation about how he can theoretically achieve this. There is even a video that will tell us how he will get the job done in great detail. He calls it the Interplanetary Transport System.

On Sunday, Elon Musk went to Reddit to have an "Ask Me Anything" session with the internet. Predictably, the session turned into a Q and A about the technical aspects of his transport system will be.

In one answer, Musk revealed a test that they are undertaking which will be done in a few weeks' time. Basically, they are trying to fill up a massive fuel tank that is one of the most important components to make the space spaceship work.

The only problem is if things will not go according to plan and the tank will not be able to handle the insane pressure and cold temperature, then there is a possibility that the thing could explode.

Musk admits that they have everything mapped out when it comes to building the massive spaceship. Well, except for that tank that could cause serious damage when not tested properly.

As of now, testing seems to go as smooth as it could be. Hopefully, there would not be any catastrophic incident and the grand vision of Elon Musk can get a step closer towards reality.
