The American Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson, and his wife, Ciara, are expecting to have a baby. It was reported that the soon-to-be mom and dad were very happy on the greatest blessing they received as captioned "Baby Wilson on the way."
On July 2015, in an interview with Pastor Miles McPherson of the Rock Church in San Diego, Russell opened up about his life, beliefs and sexual activities with his girlfriend. He said that he received a message from God about his new love life. He added that "God wanted him to lead her." He then claimed that he and his supermodel girlfriend, Ciara were practicing abstinence. So, the couple got married this year in the month of July.
The couple began dating since April. There was a speculation about their status when a photo circulated over the internet when a woman sat next to Wilson at Seattle Mariners game in April 2015. Not too long, it was then reported that Ciara and Wilson are dating. The high-profile couple became one of the most popular duos in the world of sports.
On Tuesday, the singer-songwriter, Ciara announced the news on her Instagram with a photo of her and her husband, Russell that she is pregnant. "On this special birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family...and I'm excited to finally share one the greatest gifts of all that God could give.", she captioned.
The soon-to-be mom just turned 31 on Tuesday, October 25. Ciara has a two-year-old son with her ex-fiancé, rapper Future.
The American football quarterback played on Sunday against the Cardinals which took all of the overtime to end in a 6-6 tie. Russell is jubilant and excited to become a daddy. This will be his first child, whose previous marriage with his ex-wife, Ashton Meem, ended in 2014.
