North Korean dictator's wife, Ri Sol-Ju has disappeared for seven months! Rumors were circulated over the internet that Kim Jong-un's wife was either pregnant or fallen out of favor.
The wife of the North Korean dictator, Kim Jong-un has not been seen in public view for over seven months. As reported by the South Korean news agency, Yonhap News that North Korea's first lady was last seen on March 28, when she visited a new commercial district and health facility in Pyongyang together with her husband. Many speculations dispersed that Ri could either be pregnant or fallen out with Kim Jong-un's sister, Kim Yo-jong, whom who has a great influence over her brother and has the power behind the throne.
It was reported that Kim lacks political ability than his younger sister. According to the report, Kim Yo-jong influenced her brother much more than Ri and by that she was given a task to take in charge of. Kim's younger sister was in charge of North Korea's Propaganda and Agitation Department. In 2014, it was reported that Kim Yo-jong took over her brother's regime while recovering from a medical issue.
On the other hand, one of the professor at Tokyo's Waesda University, Toshimitsu Shigemura, who focuses on Pyongyang leadership told 'The Telegraph' that Ri's public disappearance could be for her own safety. As it was reported that there was an instability in Pyongyang and even several attempted attacks which included the factions of North Korean military against their dictator, Kim. "It is possible that Ri has not been seen in public because she is being closely guarded," the professor said.
Ri was in public views numerous times together with his husband, Kim Jong-un. In 2012, she appeared 18 times, 22 times in 2013 and 15 times in 2014. Last year, her public appearance was decreased unexpectedly at seven. Apparently, she has not been seen in public for seven months and made a public view thrice this year. As reportedly, the first lady limits her public visitation after it came out that she was connected with Unhasu Orchestra.
