‘Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild’ Updates: Release Date Further Delayed And Won’t Be Part Of The Switch Launch Lineup

When the Nintendo Switch gave fans a teaser video of the device, nearly all eyes were peeled at the brand new "Legend of Zelda" game. But according to recent rumors, Nintendo might be flip flopping on their previous announcement that the "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will be part of the Switch launch lineup and that the game could be delayed further.

According to PC Advisor, a source claimed that due to the large nature of the game. It could take a few more months than what the Nintendo crew previously anticipated. If the timeline that the source is accurate, then fans should expect the release of the game to finally happen during the summer of 2017.

This could come as a big blow for the Nintendo Switch which needed a big win with their latest gaming console. The "Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" was one of the most highly anticipated titles for the company and the Switch would have greatly benefitted from having it at launch. Most especially at this crucial time considering the company just came off their worst sales performing console in the Wii U.

Fans most especially are going to be disappointed since the game was already delayed a year before. Jobs and Hire have chronicled gamer's fascination for the new Zelda games with all these theories about possible plot spoilers and characters. Hopefully, fans will keep up the same enthusiasm in the face of another long delay.

Fortunately, this is yet an unconfirmed rumor and there is still a chance that Nintendo could pull out a miracle and release the game in time for the "Switch's" release, which according to the Nintendo website is already on March 2017. And maybe fans can still be treated to an open world "Zelda" game in the first quarter of next year.
