'Destiny 2' Release Date, News & Updates: Game Confirmed For PC? Featuring New Characters, Supers, And More!

A lot is expected from the upcoming 2017 game "Destiny 2" developed by Bungie Inc., especially since the original game offered amazing gameplay to the fans. Many hope to see the likes of new supers, characters and better aesthetics in the upcoming sequel.

Fortunately, the developers have assured everyone that development is going smooth and they are now at the phase of simply adding the finishing touches. After four years since the original has been released, it seems that the sequel will be able to come out without any delays.

Moreover, according to Game N Guide, "Destiny 2" is proud to flaunt all its new huge improvements and the highlight of it all is that they answered a massive fan-wish. Many fans hoped that the game would be playable on PC, and Jason Schreier has confirmed it for everyone. In on of Schreier's tweets, he confirmed that "Destiny 2" will be on PC as well as other consoles, save the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. Boo.

Jason Schreier's sudden confirmation came as a surprise to many, especially since Bungie has yet to make their own statement regarding the matter. However, if the past does repeat itself, Schreier's revelation is likely to come true. Schreier has a golden track record for dishing out highly accurate "Destiny" leaks. He might just be in cahoots with a source that is very close to the game's developers. 

According to GameRant, it is still to be confirmed if "Destiny 2" will fully reset players' characters. However, there are reports that the sequel will be rebooted.Though it is still possible that game will retain all the existing characters from "Destiny 1" since nothing has been set in stone, for now. 

Since Activision has stated that everything is going to plan in terms of the game's development, the "Destiny 2" release date might just make it before 2017 ends.
