Lemony Snicket’s 'A Series of Unfortunate Events’ News & Updates: Netflix Series Looks Good In Full Trailer

Netflix just release the full trailer of "Lemony Snickets's A Series Of Unfortunate Events." The trailer looks really exciting, funny and sinister. 

The movie site has been known to create top-notch series like "Orange Is The New Black" that is known on its fifth season. Jobs and Hire reported that before the fifth season one of the beloved characters left the show.

Poussey, played by Samira Wiley, died on the fourth season of the Netflix original series. The site stressed that "she was one of the good characters that tragically died, hitting the chords in the Black Lives Matters movement. The fifth season also sees the return of Lolly, played by Lori Petty.

In the trailer, Neil Patrick Harris' take on Count Olaf can be seen in all its glory. He seemed to be having fun doing over-the-top performances like absurd disguises and goofs.

The Verge reported that the series has a similar vibe to Tim Burton's movie. It has a distinct dark and quirky blend like the films of the acclaimed director.

The site reported that the series seemed to blend the dark humor and wordplay that make the books popular. It will also give a new take on the book because there will be a narration from Lemony Snicket which will be played Patrick Warbuton.

Yahoo News reported that the show focuses on the life of the Baudelaire children named Violet, Klaus and Sunny. They were put under the care of Count Olaf after a mysterious fire killed their parents.

The series will focus on the Baudelaire children escape from Count Olaf, while trying to find out the connection of the VFD organization to their parents death. "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" will focus on the first four books of the author. If renewed, the series will focus on the other remaining books. The series will be available on Netflix on January 13, 2017.
