Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: New Tickets went up to £1, 500; Cursed indeed?

Tickets for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are on sale on November 22, 2016, but fans are angry as the new batch of tickets are sold  up to  £1, 500. 

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a West End  two-part play  by JK Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany showing at Palace Theatre, London ,which  premiered on July 30,2016.It  is the eighth book of  the famous  Harry Potter series and with so many great reviews,fans are dying  to watch the play.

In its first world premiere production, 175,000 tickets were sold in less than 8 hours.According to Evening Standard, the fans complain about how the ticket booking system works and voiced their complaints to ticket sellers Nimax and ATG on social media.A spokeswoman for the blockbuster  production said that they are doing everything they can to address the issue but are  limited without the aid of the government.

"We are adding our voice to the significant pressure from the entertainment industry to raise awareness of this issue and make this a key priority," She said."Customers having difficulties booking due to any technical issues are being contacted directly by our ticketing partners to help them complete their bookings."

Ticket resale is banned by the producers ,however,many still resale tickets at higher prices. There are 300 seats available for each performance and tickets for each play range from £15 and £70 depending  on where you seat .Even some ticket agencies sell them up to £3,000. 

"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" will pick up 19 years  from the ending of the last book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows".The play will feature a whole new struggle of Harry potter as the head of Magical Law Enforcement  with  his son,Albus Severus Potter.
