Millennial Entrepreneurs: Valuing Purpose More Than Profit Leads To Business Success

Millennial entrepreneurs are gradually changing the way people understand what it means to run a business. How so? There have been studies that show young entrepreneurs making more profit than baby boomers.

Fortune says that millennial entrepreneurs, on the average of 20 to 35 years old, are already managing larger staff and generating greater profit compared to baby boomers. According to the same source, 75 percent of millennial entrepreneurs are working closely on increasing their profit, expecting significant results by next year. Apparently, for boomers, the confidence level is quite low as only 42 percent expect a profit increase.

This kind of drive that millennial entrepreneurs show is exactly the reason why they enjoy business success more than their baby boomer predecessors. But what exactly is the root of this optimistic character? According to Business News Daily, it lies on how they value their purpose and not solely defining the business by the profit they generate. The way they see the future and plan for it is one of the keys to their success. It is the harmony between work and lifestyle that gives them the mobility to draw their own success.

Furthermore, these young entrepreneurs take into account: control of their own time, whether or not they still have time for travel, and most especially, they like to think about freedom. They constantly evaluate themselves to see if they have all these things while still being able to generate relatively huge profit at the same time because from their perspective, flexibility on work and lifestyle is a primary success factor. Profit is only second.

Many millennial entrepreneurs are already enjoying their business and freedom. It's not entirely impossible that even at a young age of 30, one can already retire from business and enjoy life even more than ever. For more related articles, check out this related report by Jobs & Hire.
