'Prison Break' Season 5 Air Date, Spoilers & Update: Upcoming Season Has Less Than 10 Episodes; Fans Have The Power To Save Show!

Avid fans of the intense escape series "Prison Break" have been hoping for the show's final season since it took a break back in 2009. Finally, good news is upon us as FOX will be airing "Prison Break" Season 5 next year, however, the episode count is rather worrisome.

Paul Scheuring's hit serial drama puzzled the minds of fans during its golden years from 2005 to 2009. After four seasons of "Prison Break," the show halted filming and fans have been sitting tight as they wait for news on the series. To the delight of the viewers, "Prison Break" Season 5 has been confirmed, and the major cast members had a few insights to share about to upcoming season.

The fact that the fifth season of "Prison Break" has been confirmed is enough to fan the flames of excitement in the hearts of the fans. However, this excitement may be short-lived since with the good news, came bad news. Although Season 5 is well on its way, it seems that the upcoming season of "Prison Break" will only have nine episodes. It is worth mentioning that Season 5 will be the final season for the show and fans worry that the episode count will not effectively wrap up the show's greatness.

According to Game N Guide, "Prison Break" Season 5 will have its episode count based on the show's ratings. With that, there is a spark of hope that suggests there may be more episodes to come, but all the power will be in the hands of avid fans. The show's leading man Wentworth Miller is urging fans to keep the hope alive, especially since everything lies in their hands. There is also a chance that there might be another revival for the show if ratings prove to be outstanding.

Miller told Digital Spy that more episodes may be added to "Prison Break" Season 5 if fans receive the show well enough. Back in July, the show's creator expressed that the nine episodes for the fifth season will wrap everything up and then show will end there. The actor also hinted that Paul Scheuring may still change his mind and give the series another season.

It seems that the future of "Prison Break" Season 5 is in the hands of its fans. If the ratings are great, more episodes may be added to the supposed final season, or maybe even a renewal. For now, fans can wait for the premiere of "Prison Break" Season 5 in early 2017. Stay tuned to Jobs & Hire for more updates on this beloved drama series.
