While 'Bad Teacher' co-star Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel's characters ended up together in the movie, the Hollywood actors' real-life relationship is the hot gossip lately especially that they to team up once again for upcoming flick 'Sex Tape.' An insider says the two were last seen cozying up in the Hamptons.
Diaz and Segel were seen comfortably eating at Nick and Toni's restaurant last Tuesday evening, and they seem to have gone from friend-zoned to exclusively dating, a Life & Style magazine report stated.
"They were at [upscale eatery] Nick and Toni's and seemed to be on a date," an eyewitness told the press.
Another eyewitness spilled that the rumored dating couple also went shopping at the Citarella food market afterwards, where they "bought groceries and then drove off together."
However, a different take on the gossip was presented by an E! News insider saying that the 33-year-old actor and the 40-year-old actress are actually far from landing the snogging stage, saying that they are "not romantic at all towards each other, very casual and friendly."
Meanwhile, many claimed that the 'How I Met Your Mother' star and the 'There's Something About Mary' actress are simply going out as friends, now that their on-screen romance is to resume for their upcoming project.
Cameron's last relationship was with Alex Rodriguez two years ago. On the other hand, Jason had finally called it quits with 1-year dating girlfriend Michelle Williams.
Right now the two are both single and unattached, but are admittedly focused on their career than looking for blossoming romance.
Diaz has been very busy filming "The Other Woman" with Kate Upton, Taylor Kenny, and Leslie Mann these past few months while Segel continues working on his hit US tv series.
Whether the dating rumor is true or not, the two Hollywood actors are bound to see each other more since they are to get busy with 'Sex Tape' as soon as movie-taping begins.
Segel teases fans that he didn't lose a lot of weight for the upcoming movie for no apparent reason; even bluntly commenting "It is R-rated."
