"Girl Meets World" is the well-loved coming-of-age drama on Disney Channel. At present, the show is in danger of being canceled. The cast are urging the network to renew the show for another season. However, Disney might renew the show in its sister network, Freeform.

Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya Hart (Sabrina Carpenter) are about to enter college next season.

M-Magazine reported that Cheryl Texiera, who play's Maya's mother wrote a letter, Augusto Maturo posted a video and Danny McNulty also posted an appeal through his Instagram account.

"Girl Meets World" has been rumored to be canceled many times before but the show gets renewed every time. This time, undeniably, there are some factors to consider.

Fans have been painfully waiting for the renewal. They are fine if it gets renewed for the 4th season in Freeform.

Meanwhile, "Girl Meets A Christmas Maya" has just been aired. Its focus is on Maya who was not happy about celebrating it with a new step dad. Riley who is always a friend in rescue lifted her mood by doing a play based on "A Christmas Carol." Everything ended on a merry mood as Maya got a new appreciation of the sacrifices of her mother. She was also assured of a bright future with Shawn.

"Girl Meets Goodbye" will air on January 2017 which will be the final episode. It will feature the reunion of "Boy Meets World cast. Will it be goodbye for "Girl Meets World?"
