NBA Trade Rumors: Milwaukee Bucks Center Greg Monroe Wants Out, New York Knicks A Possible Destination

Greg Monroe is ripe for a trade as the Milwaukee Bucks big man has been getting lesser minutes this season. The Bucks frontcourt lineup is jam-packed and there are NBA trade rumors spreading that an unhappy Monroe might ask for a trade before the deadline. Rumor has it that the New York Knicks could be a possible landing spot for him.

In a report by ESPN, Monroe could be included in the picture of this season's NBA trade rumors. Dec. 15 is nearing and teams might start to shop their players anytime soon and that includes the Bucks as well.

Monroe has been on the trading block and different teams have shown interest in the 6'11'' center. In the Bucks' four games approaching thanksgiving, Monroe has played seven, zero, two and eight minutes sequentially. He has averaged 8.8PPG, 6.6 RPG and 0.6 BLKPG this season and it is unlikely for a player of his caliber.

NBA trade rumors have it that he appears to be the odd man out and that the Bucks might trade him. The team has John Henson and Miles Plumlee on its roster which would result to Monroe fighting for his minutes.

According to Bleacher Report, Monroe's value has greatly dropped down since the Bucks haven't showcased him in their past games. But he is still a talented player which could help bolster any contender's frontcourt. The Knicks is a good spot for Monroe where he could definitely maximize his full potential.

Monroe has a player option and can become an unrestricted free agent next year. The Knicks center position is currently unstable with an unhealthy Joakim Noah and Kyle O'Quinn still needs to prove himself. Monroe would be a perfect fit and can play alongside Kristaps Porzingis.

If these NBA trade rumors materialize, it would be a good deal for the Knicks. The Bucks need to decide now if they want to trade Monroe or lose him in free agency.
