‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ To Explore Robots' Origins

As the movie world awaits the coming of "Transformers: The Last Knight", it has been observed that the series often diverted its story line to the history of the robots. There were instances when the robots themselves narrated stories on how they came into being.

In the very first movie, it was Optimus Prime who told the story of how planet Cybertron failed as a world of thinking machines and how the transformers historically altered the course of human history. In the Collider, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura talked about the story line of the "Transformers: The Last Knight."

Bonaventura explained how the transformers "Were created, where did it start, where did they go from being a sort of a slave-race to a sentient race-we're delving into that aspect of the mythology, so the characters that are involved in there are Megatron before he's Megatron, Optimus before he's Optimus, the Librarian, the Quintessons, there's a whole group of things that have to do with how, in a sense, the Transformers were birthed, and also with how they were divided. What brought up the division, and what were the jealousies involved."

Those who have been following the exploits of the transformers in the first four sequels of the movie already know about the Optimus Prime and Cybertron symphony. Cinema Blend said that fans can expect that in the fifth canto "Transformers: The Last Knight," the history of the Transformer characters will be explicitly depicted in the movie.

The movie explains the origin of Decepticon and the Autobots, detailing how they became strong and eventually turned into villains. It also shows the reason why the alien race Quintessons has a unique connection with the Transformers group.

The movie also brings the audience to World War 2 and Medieval era scenes which turn the "Transformers: The Last Knight" a movie with universal theme. With this development, an animated Transformers movie is most likely to follow.
