"Food wars: Shokugeki No Sama" garnered deep appreciation from audience due to its amazing plot and of course its enticing sketch. The anime adaptation of the said manga received as much acceptance because of the beautiful and precise artwork that has been put into the project.
The packaging is as important as the content thus the DVD/Blu-ray covers showed incredible artworks including that of both Soma Yukihira and Erina Nakiri on their high-spirited pose. The second season of the Anime bears seven blu-ray discs released every month with prices 6,500 yen for the six discs and 4,500 yen for the seventh one which bears only one episode.
Whereas the DVD version was sold in a box set for 8,900 yen. The release began in September 28, 2016 as per Fandom Post. The home video copies of the said anime was handled by Warner Bros. Japan with more images on the creative covers on their website.
Meanwhile, after the success of the second season, fans are now excited as the season 3 is set to be released on 2017. With the new school administration, Soma and Erina and the rest of the gang will be expected to face more exciting challenges that will push them to their limits and possibly even create a romantic connection between Yukihira and Nakiri. "Food wars: Shokugeki No Sama" revolves around the story of a young cook Soma Yukihira who once dreamt of surpassing his father Joichiro Yukihira's culinary expertise thus saving their family restaurant. The old Yukihira enrolled his son in a prestigious cooking school Totsuki Academy where he will meet and eventually get challenged by his classmates whom include Erina Nakiri, the granddaughter of the school owner.
