‘X-Men: New Mutants’ Confirmed Shooting? Director Josh Boone Teases Fans In Twitter

The "X-Men" franchise has been a solid blockbuster hit throughout the years; however, the recent "X-Men: Apocalypse" has been undermined by both fans and critics. But that will not stop Fox from producing more as fans are getting reports of another "X-Men" movie set for 2017.

It was sighted from Den of Geek, who mentioned that the production of the seventh film would start as early as January 2017. Reports claim that the title of the movie shall be "X-Men: New Mutants," though still unconfirmed.

A local news publication in Montreal, where "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" and "X-Men: Apocalypse" shot, reported that Fox studio is heading back to the place to gear up for the new "X-Men" movie. A production office was also built around the area at MELS Studios complex.

Following the speculations, "The Fault in Our Stars" director Josh Boone teases the fans and took to Twitter of the rumors rounding up. "New X-Men film set to start shooting May. Hmmmm, what movie could it be?" he says.

According to a report acquired by MovieWeb, shooting will commence in May 2017, and MELS Studios will be used for several months. They came from the words of the MELS' president, Michel Trudel himself, so it is a safe assumption that it will be "X-Men: New Mutants" that will occupy the space as there are no other "X-Men" movies that have been reported to have such development.

Be that all as it may, no cast has been confirmed yet to appear in the new "X-Men" movie. Although, Director Boone has been teasing fans of the lineup of mutants that will appear in the film.

Some of them include characters such as Magik, Wolfsbane, Dani Moonstar, Cannonball, Sunspot, and Warlock. Moreover, "Game of Thrones"' star Maisie Williams is rumored to play Wolfsbane.

So far "X-Men: New Mutants" has sparked the Marvel community and made a lot of fans hype up to this movie after the disappointing "X-Men: Apocalypse." Will the new "X-Men" film live up to the excitement? Or will it fail to meet expectations again like how Apocalypse was overhyped? Comment below to share your thoughts.
