Dave Grohl made a surprise visit at the Harley Davidson anniversary celebration when he suddenly appeared out of the blue and joined Chevy Metal on stage, Inquisitr reported Saturday.
According to WebProNews, David Grohl, Foo Fighter front man and former Nirvana drummer, surprised over 100,000 attendees from around the world in the 110th anniversary of Harley Davidson, a Milwaukee-based motorcycle company.
Although Grohl recently tweeted that he would be in Milwaukee this weekend, no one has gotten a clue if he were to publicly appear and perform for the said event.
"Hey Milwaukee... Guess who's in town? That's right-Taylor, Dave & Chevy Metal. Get over here!" his twitter post read.
In his appearance, Dave even joked that he was there to talk between sets for the band, not even mentioning that Taylor Hawkins, Chevy Metal vocalist and drummer, is his fellow Foo Fighter.
Dave Grohl and Chevy Metal performed several cover sings including Rolling Stones' "Miss You," Van Halen's "Panama."
Meanwhile, earlier this month, David Grohl had revealed that he is now a member of a band called Nameless Ghouls, a mysterious rock band that wears elaborate costumes and masks and plays high-energy beats.
Nameless Ghouls has been around since 2008 and has worked hard to gain publicity and a number of fans despite concealing their real identities.
"I think we've been able to sustain our thing so far because there hasn't been that kind of level of interest in the band," a member of his new band said. "That will change. It's something of a paradox. To go further as a band doesn't run parallel with being anonymous."
StarTribune reported that another rock star was present at the Harley Davidson anniversary. Joan Jett was spotted watching the performance from backstage.
