"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 71 and 72 is by the far the most anticipated and most exciting upcoming episodes in the series. Speculations say Goku might die in this episode - if so, this is going to be the saddest episode ever.
Fans are excited for the next episodes as the main character of the series will once again battle with Hit; the episode is entitled as "Goku Shiki! Zettai Shikko No Ansatsu Irai," which is translated to "Death to Goku! A Hit-Job That Can't Be Refused," however, the original Japanese title, if translated correctly, also means "Goku Dies! An Assassination Order That Must Be Performed" - based on an article from iTechpost, these two meaning and translations can't provide an idea of the episode's plot and how it's going to turn out.
But whatever the plot may be, Goku might still get defeated and killed in "Dragon ball Super" episode 71, owning the fact that Hit has his own killing techniques and can level against Goku's powers and is totally capable of killing Goku. An article from Jobs and Hire also wrote that Hit was sent from another universe only to put an end to Goku's life but as of now, no one is still certain about who sent Hit.
Moreover, Goku will be fighting off against the strongest assassin from Universe 6, Hit. Goku and Hit have already crossed paths before and had battled against each other as well but Hit was not allowed to kill Goku that time, therefore, he wasn't able to showcase his true capabilities.
Furthermore, according to GamenGuide, the anime series is reported to be put on hold after the airing of episode 72, which means the following episodes after episode 72 will not be aired until January 8. Meanwhile, episode 71 and 72 is the first and second part of Goku and Hit's meeting and battle; the episodes will be aired on the eighteenth and twenty-fifth of December.
