The popular A Capella film series "Pitch Perfect 3" has gone through numerous delays because of casting issues, particularly the conflict between two of the show's main stars. Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson have had their share of back stage drama and replacements are bound to happen.
Multiple sources claim that Anna Kendrick and co-star Rebel Wilson have been going through issues that are now affecting their project "Pitch Perfect 3." According to a previous report by Jobs & Hire, the initial release date of the film was July 2017, it was moved to December 2017 due to internal cast issues. Moreover, it was also mentioned that Kendrick would have to be replaced if the issue remains unresolved, and it seems fans are looking at just that.
According to Game N Guide, "High School Musical's" Vanessa Hudgens is the current candidate to replace Anna Kendrick in "Pitch Perfect 3." However, "Glee" star Lea Michele is also being considered for the role of Beca Mitchell. More rumors also claim that Rebel Wilson might leave the show as well due to schedule conflicts.
To the contrary, University Herald reports that despite the rumors, Kendrick and Wilson will remain as the stars of "Pitch Perfect 3" and while Vanessa Hudgens and Lea Michele might be new members of the Barden Bellas. There is little room for a cast overhaul if the present schedule is hoped to be followed. The film is supposed to start shooting by January 2017 and aims to have the movie out by December 22, 2017.
In other news, as per IMDb's page for "Pitch Perfect 3," Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus are listed as cast memebrs for the upcoming 2017 film. Despite their presence in the cast as per the popular movie website, there has yet to be an official announcement regarding the presence of the two musical stars.
"Pitch Perfect 3" is eying to earn more than their predecessors, whereas "Pitch Perfect" earned $113 million while "Pitch Perfect 3" grossed at $286 million. If Miley Cyrus and Justin Beiber does make an appearance in the upcoming film, along with Lea Michele and Vanessa Hudgens, the film has a massive shot at attaining that goal.
