'The Walking Dead: A New Frontier' Release Date, Latest News & Update: Season 3 To Introduce New Characters From TV Series!

Christmas is just around the corner but Telltale will have an early gift for the avid fans of the hit interactive story game, "The Walking Dead", with season 3 entitled "A New Frontier". During the prestigious Game Awards 2016, Telltale released their new trailer which showcased the return of Clementine and the introduction of a new character from the TV series.

The latest addition to "The Walking Dead" series, will start with the first two entitled Ties That Band Part 1 and 2. Clementine will come back with a new character named Javier to accompany her in her survival adventure in the zombie infested world. AJ, the baby from season two will also make an appearance in the game.

The new brutal trailer showed the iconic tense moments that the past seasons built up and the new set of characters that will intertwine with the fate of Clementine and her group. One of the many is the fan favorite character from the TV series, Jesus.

Jesus became one of the most celebrated characters in "The Walking Dead" TV series because of his wit and cunning strategies in order to survive. Itech Post reported that Jesus will be an ally for Clementine and her group and is expected to have a dramatic rescue scene with the heroine.

The new playable character, Javier will also have a huge impact on Clementine as reported by PC Gamer. "Javier will begin to unravel the mystery of who Clementine has become, as her story intersects with his while both of them still driven by the things they value most long after society's collapse," said Executive Producer Kevin Boyle.

"The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" will be launched for PS4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android and will be available physically sometime in February 2017. The other episodes will then be available for download to the CD owners.

The game will sport a new gameplay engine that will surely bring a new life to the game. New players of the series can also create their own backstory and the survivors can now import vital decisions that they have made in the previous two seasons.
