Record breaking and top-selling hit maker Ed Sheeran's Twitter account saw an immense rise in activity after he changed his profile photo to "blue." Fans view the first sign of activity after his long time hiatus from his phone, emails and social media as his return to music. Moreover, they may just be right; a new Ed Sheeran album is underway. Songwriter Amy Wadge - closely working with him on the album, said it is "the best he has ever made" and the album will "break the internet."
According to The Telegraph, it was a year after the hitmaker who sang "Thinking Out Loud" said he would take a break from his "phone, emails and social media accounts," his latest cryptic update of a blue photograph in Twitter signifies his return with a new album. The Telegraph speculates that Sheeran's album may appear by January but official publication has not specified an exact date. The update and his presence also suggest he may headline a Glastonbury music event to promote his album.

The last time the public saw Sheeran after his dive away from the Internet was when he played for a children's hospice, according to BBC.
Ed Sheeran is the singer of pop hits including "Thinking Out Loud", Hollywood fantasy blockbuster "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug's" theme "I See Fire" and the 2011 hit "The A-Team." Recently, the singer-songwriter came under fire for giving X-Factor winner Matt Terry a hit single, claiming that he had "sold out" by associating himself with X-Factor - Amy Wadge rebutted, stating that Sheeran did it "all for the music."
