Gwen Stefani is expecting her third child with husband Gavin Rossdale, Daily Mail reported Thursday.
The 43-year-old 'No Doubt' singer is reportedly thrilled about the news. Stefani, who is already a mother of two sons, is very happy along with her 'Bush' frontman husband as they are now going to be parents of three, In Touch Weekly magazine reported.
"Gwen and Gavin couldn't be happier. She's just trying to focus on resting right now. She wants to make sure that all is well with the baby," a source told the magazine.
A year ago, Gwen Stefani said to 'Marie Claire' that she and her husband Gavin had "really, really wanted" another baby back in 2010, but without further explanation she added "it didn't really work out."
"I feel good with what we've got," she added. "Everything works out how it should. You can't plan anything right? You can try."
On the other hand, Stefani's representative has not yet given a response to MailOnline's inquiry on the pregnancy issue.
Meanwhile, some time ago, Gwen confessed to Vogue magazine how much she had underestimated the impact of having kids in her life.
"It's super fun being a mom, but it's not what you think it's going to be. At first, your life is totally the same. And as they grow older, it really does start to change your life. Like, 'Oh, my God, they have school, they have to get through first grade, they have to learn to read,'" Stefani said. "It stars getting serious, and you're like 'Aaaaaah!'"
Gwen also talked about her husband Gavin, saying that she only realized how he has helped her in looking after their boys when he left for a 'Bush' tour in 2011.
"One thing we've had in our relationship the whole time is that we can have it both ways: together, not together, and it's fine. But when you have kids? It's not so great. They need him. Once you have a family, it's just so obvious how everyone needs each other. So it's really nice to have him back," Stefani concluded.
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have been married since 2002.
Aside from Stefani's two kids Kingston, seven, and five-year-old Zuma, Gavin is also father to Daisy Lowe, 24-year-old British model, following a previous relationship with Lowe's mother Pearl in the 1980s.
