Dexter's David Lee Mangum Arrested: Former Lover Claims Mangum Gave Him HIV Virus! Craigslist Maniac May Have Exposed Over 300 Sex Partners To The Fatal Virus, Police Say? [VIDEO & REPORT]

David Lee Mangum of Dexter was arrested last week for allegedly exposing over 300 sexual partners to HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, without informing them, KPLR reported Thursday.

Mangum is now scheduled to appear in a Stoddard County court on Thursday on charges that he exposed a former lover to HIV on his own volition.

L.A. Times reported earlier that a former filed a complaint against Mangum after he tested positive to HIV. Court documents identified the victim as D.B.

According to the affidavit, D.B. met Mangum thru an ad on Craigslist in October 2012, adding that the Craigslist maniac assured him that he did not have any sexually transmitted diseases before they had sex. D.B. and Mangum lived together from November and ended on June after D.B. had found out that his lover was sleeping with other people.

Earlier reports stated that Mangum's ex-roommate had informed D.B. that Mangum had tested positive for HIV back in 2003.

David confirmed to the police that he was indeed diagnosed with HIV in Texas in 2003, adding that he'd had over 300 sexual partners since then. Police said that Mangum admitted he had never disclosed his health risk status for 'fear of rejection,' the Times reported.

Mangum is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning at the Stoddard County (Mo.) Justice Center in Bloomfield, and he is being held on a $250,000 bond, KSDK reported.

Meanwhile, The Daily Statesman stated that Mangum could possibly be sentenced to life imprisonment.

Authorities sad that he could face roughly 15 years in prison for a felony of knowingly infecting someone with HIV and for exposing his sex partners to the fatal virus.

Stoddard County Prosecuting Attorney Russell Oliver publicly urges anyone who had sexual relations with Mangum or with an anonymous male they met thru Craigslist to stop sexual activity and get tested for the HIV virus immediately.
