'Rouge One: A Star Wars Story' Spoilers, Latest News & Update: 6 Cameos Appearances Fans Of “Star Wars” Franchise May Have Missed

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is literally littered with Easter Eggs and cameo appearances. Now that "Rogue One: Star Wars Story" have been released, fans of the franchise are left searching for Easter Eggs and cameo appearances as well. Here are a few cameo appearances that fans might have missed!

The Ghost From "Star Wars: Rebels"

"The Ghost" is home to a group of freedom fighters/rebel team in Disney's animated series "Star Wars: Rebels." The Ghost puts up two cameo appearances in "Rouge One: A Star Wars Story;" one outside the Massassi temple, and the next on the battle of Scarif just below the Tantiv IV. While details on the Ghost's crew is unavailable, fans can now rest assured that the ship will make it at least until before "Star Wars: A New Hope" begins.

Chopper From "Star Wars: Rebels"

Chopper, "Star Wars: Rebels," mainstay, also played a cameo appearance in "Rouge One: A Star Wars Story." Chopper can be seen rolling past Mon Mothma during a briefing. Easter Egg alert! The film confirms that Chopper is indeed at Yavin during this period. Fans of the "Star Wars: Rebels" deduce that Ezra, Kanen, and the rest of The Ghost's crew is probably on Yavin as well!

Star Wars Expanded Universe Rouge Leader Wedge Antilles Returns!

Wedge Antilles, the man who would inherit command of Rouge Squadron in the Star Wars expanded the universe, is curiously left out in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." David Ankrum reprises his uncredited role as voice over talent for Wedge in the "Rouge One: A Star Wars Story."

Red 5

Not much is known about Red 5 who appeared in "Rouge One: A Star Wars Story" except that he was shot down in the battle of Scarif. Fans know that Red 5 is Luke Skywalker's call sign in his first run through with the Red Squadron, which later became Rouge Squadron. With Red 5 gone, it is easy to assume that Luke fills the shoe of the dead Red 5 pilot who put in an awesome cameo appearance.

'Rizzle Kicks' Singer Jordan Stephens And 'Horrible Histories' Mainstay Simon Farnaby

As mentioned above, there is no lack of well-known stars wanting to play cameo roles for the "Star Wars" franchise. The latest ones to have cameo appearances are singer Jordan Stephens and actor Simon Farnaby. Stephens played a rebel soldier in a scene with Bodhi Rook while Farnaby played Blue 5.

Ponda Babba And Dr. Evazan

Yes, he's got 12 death sentences on 12 systems and Jedha is probably one of them. Ponda Babba And Dr. Evazan has a run in with Jyn in the city just before it got destroyed. Apparently, they escaped and survived to threaten Luke Skywalker at the Cantina scene in "Star Wars: A New Hope." Might as well be dead in Jedha than be decapacitated by Obi-Wan Kenobi's lightsaber.
