Selena Gomez Avoiding Taylor Swift, ‘Bad Blood’ Singer A Bad Influence?

Selena Gomez’s personal relationships are languishing as it has been claimed that the “Same Old Love” singer is avoiding her best friend, Taylor Swift. The fallout comes after Gomez’s 90-day hiatus to focus on health, and it was said that she was cutting the “Bad Blood” singer out of her life as Swift is a bad influence.

According to Radar Online, a source said that Justin Bieber’s former girlfriend has begun to cut out all the bad influences in her life, including her former BFF. It was also said that not only was Swift “wild,” but she was also allegedly forever trying to best the former Disney star.

“Taylor is always trying to one-up Selena, and make it look like Selena is just lucky to be her friend,” the source said. “Selena is just completely over it.”

There are signs that the ladies’ epic friendship is over as Selena Gomez did not take to social media to wish Taylor Swift a happy birthday earlier this month. While other members of the famous girl squad, such as Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Martha Hunt, and Ruby Rose took to social media to celebrate the “Shake it Off” singer’s 27th birthday, Gomez was silent and didn’t join in on the birthday tributes. Moreover, the “I Want You To Know” singer was also absent at Swift’s Thanksgiving celebration, and was nowhere during the latter’s Fourth of July bash.

However, Refinery 29 points out that Selena Gomez might still be taking a break from social media, and it’s likely that she and the pop star had a private chat. There’s also the fact that Taylor Swift posted a video to Instagram that saw her being positively giddy over Gomez’s win at the American Music Awards, and it’s possible that the two are still friends.

Gossip Cop is slamming Radar Online’s report, as an insider close to the situation said that the rumor about Selena Gomez ditching Taylor Swift is “totally false.”
