‘My Sad Christmas Song’ Singer Miley Cyrus Mourns Consumerism And Greed But Celebrates ‘The Hunger Games’ Actor Liam Hemsworth’s Presents

"Can't Be Tamed" singer Miley Cyrus happily shared her Christmas presents to fans all over the world by posting them on Instagram. However, the "My Sad Christmas Song" singer apparently is not a fan of buying consumer goods as gifts during the Christmas season.

Her fiancé, "The Hunger Games" actor Liam Hemsworth, gifted her with a pair of earrings shaped like the moon, People reported. The Miley Cyrus appears to be genuinely happy with Hemsworth's gift, but she has taken to low-key shame consumerism.

It is understandable why Miley eagerly showed the world the gifts she received from Liam. Jobs & Hire previously reported that there were speculations that the two have split up again because of some rumors that the two decided to postpone their wedding.

The earrings, which were studded with gems of different colors, seems to put those rumors to rest as they could be a sign of good will between the former coach in "The Voice" and the Australian actor. The funky earring seems to go well with the rest of jewelry of the "Party in the U.S.A." singer, who has confessed to liking quirky accessories over stuff with real jewels in them.

In an Instagram post, however, the "Wrecking Ball" singer said she really dislike the holiday season for its "excessiveness and greed," Daily Mail reported. It is unclear whether she considers Liam's gift to fall under excessiveness seeing as he made the earrings himself.

Miley and Liam took a holiday picture with the Hemsworth family with everyone dressed up in pajamas designed to highlight the holiday season. Miley appears to have worn a version of Santa Claus' outfit, and the rest of the family wore clothes of the same holiday theme.
