Here’s Why Tom Brady Out-earns Other Active Quarterbacks

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady may be one of the well-known NFL players of all time. With a lot of endorsements and air time under his belt, it is not that hard to imagine why. On top of that, his string of supermodel girlfriends catapulted him into the entertainment spotlight.

If we're talking endorsement deals and interview fees alone, Brady certainly earns more money from those than any other quarterbacks. Brady is the endorser of several brands including Movado, Glaceau Smart Water and Under Armour. The sports clothing and apparel company has been known to tap NFL players as its endorser.

While he certainly earns millions, Brady has worked hard for it. He has trained hard to become one of the top quarterbacks in NFL history. He boasts winning four Super Bowl championships and some Most Valuable Player awards with the New England Patriots.

ESPN reported that Brady won the AFC East offensive most valuable player. The title was decided by four reporters who work for the sports media company. However, the reporters are not confident that Brady will win the MVP award this season.

The reporters lauded her for consistently being one of the strong players. However, they expect his previous MVP awards to work against him because it means that the bar is set much higher for him. Winning another MVP award could mean more endorsement deals and air time for Brady, and those would bring him more money.

Forbes reported that while all active quarterbacks earn hundreds of millions of dollars from their play, Brady still topped the list with a total salary of $196.2 million. He was followed by Ben Roethlisberger of Pittsburgh Steelers at $158.3 million, Matt Ryan of Atlanta Falcons at $133.7 million and Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay Packers at $123.8 Million.
