Chris Brown Complains Jay Z Is Easily Forgiven For Indiscretions And Not Him: Brown Says 'Nobody Brings Up That He Stabbed Somebody And Sold Drugs'

Chris Brown wasn't furious or anything when he opened up that he feels as though people do not easily forgive his transgressions as opposed to Jay Z, who has several indiscretions in the past, New York Daily News reported Saturday.

Chris Brown now thinks that people are having a hard time letting go of his past mistakes especially his domestic dispute with ex-girlfriend Rihanna while other celebs such as Jay Z, who received favorable responses despite his previous transgressions.

The 24-year-old singer opened up about his bad reputation in the October issue of Jet magazine, asking why people are quick to judge his actions after he got involved into several misdemeanors and not other music artists, who also had sordid pasts.

Brown even cited Beyoncé's husband, Jay Z, in his comments.

"No disrespect, because I'm a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that he stabbed somebody and sold drugs," Chris Brown told the magazine.

Brown was actually referring to a 1999 incident when Jay Z pled guilty to stabbing record producer Lance "Un" Rivera.

"He gets a pass," Brown added.

Chris insisted that he is also trying his best to make amends for his past, especially his shocking assault to ex-girlfriend Rihanna, who was reportedly bruised and battered by the ""Fine China" singer. He even regarded that incident as "the deepest regret of my life."

"You have to go through the struggle before you can get to the good part," Chris said, adding, "I don't try to lash out at people or be as mad or impulsive as I used to be. I got to the point where it's only so much you can take from the master, you feel me? I've taken my fair share of lashings."

Chris also said that he can now identify with Trayvon Martin due to his personal struggle with racism.

"I identify with Trayvon 100 percent as far as living in 2013 and still dealing with blatant racism," he said. "This generation is so used to racism that it's normal; we don't care. We aren't on drugs or catching AIDS, but they still look at us as ni**as."

Meanwhile, the Grammy-winning singer also revealed the reason behind his break-up with Rihanna.

"Relationships are the most difficult part. That's why I was honest with those two girls and I put out that video. My ex and I broke up because of the 'situation' and she had moved on. I fell in love with another girl," Brown said, referring to none other than Karrueche Tran.

"Then my ex came back, so it was like, 'What is a man to do?' I told them both the truth. I didn't do the sucker role," he added.

Hollywoodlife reported that the model turned fashion designer is now helping Chris to stay away from troublesome situations, adding that a source has revealed Tran has tamed the singer.

On a final note, Chris Brown told the magazine that his mistakes and transgressions are all part of his humanity.

"I'm not perfect, and I don't have to be," he said. "We are supposed to make mistakes. I'm not an android or a robot."

CNN Entertainment reported that Brown is now ready to explore new heights as a singer-turned actor. He's new movie 'Battle of the Year' will arrive in theaters this weekend while his sixth studio album 'X' is to arrive late 2013.
