This Tavern Wants To Pay You $12,000 To Travel And Drink Beer

If you’ve ever dreamed about quitting your stressful job to do something a little more relaxing, perhaps a career that has something to do with social media and drinking beer, then you’re in luck. A tavern chain is looking for interns to travel the world and drink beer, and moreover, you’ll get paid while living the dream life.

World of Beer is looking for Drink It Interns to travel, explore breweries, and visit WOB taverns all across the United States to dive into beer culture and share their stories with WOB drinkers. According to the company’s official website, they are looking for three Drink Interns to hit the road this summer and search for the best food and craft beer out there.

As they travel, the selected interns will capture the best beer and “beer people” stories and document them by blogging, capturing video, taking photos, and posting on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

World of Beer wants interns who love to explore and share experiences with their friends. They have to be social media savvy and passionate about food and beer. They should have “outgoing personalities who can talk to anyone,” and they should genuinely love to meet people and share stories with strangers about their love of beer.

Candidates must be 21 years old to enter and will be employed on a part-time basis. To apply, send your application to World of Beer here and share a one-minute video that shows your passion for beer and interest for the position. Include links to your social media pages so that the company can know more about you.

If your application impresses the judges, you get to move on to round 2 and will be asked to come to one of the World of Beer locations on April 8. Once there, you have to be ready to impress the panelists with your passion for food and beer.

World of Beer will be accepting applications until March 26. According to Conde Nast Traveler, selected Drink It Interns will earn $12,000 for four months of work.
