Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) opened up 116 tenders and auctions for companies and entrepreneurs to take part in. These opportunities are available until the end of 2025 and are open to all businesses in the UAE, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

This move supports the Dubai Government's Public-Private Partnership Strategy for 2024 to 2026, focusing on boosting the city's economic development through stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors.

The tenders span various industries such as services, consultancy, infrastructure, insurance, outsourcing, operations and maintenance, IT, and investment, WAM reported.

This initiative highlights RTA's dedication to strengthening partnerships with the private sector and local companies, creating a supportive environment for strategic collaborations, and driving innovation in products and services.

It supports RTA's Strategic Plan 2025–2030, which aims to "improve operational efficiency and support a broader portfolio of planning, strategic, and investment projects." These efforts will help boost the local economy and enhance the role of national companies in the infrastructure and services sectors.

Abdulla Yousef Al Ali, the CEO of RTA's Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, emphasized RTA's focus on building stronger partnerships with both local and international companies.

RTA supports Dubai's business community through several incentive-based programs, including awards for companies that show strong collaboration with small and medium-sized businesses.

To participate in RTA's tenders, companies need to meet certain qualifications, which can be accessed through RTA's online system. This digital process makes it easier for companies to apply. The initiative is designed to attract top local and global companies, ensuring high-quality projects, exchanging expertise, and contributing to national talent development.

It also helps to enhance skills across the sector, attract investments, and stimulate economic growth. For full details on upcoming tenders and auctions, companies can visit RTA's website and navigate to the "Supplier and Investor Management System."

RTA provides a free electronic prequalification system on the same platform. Companies can sign up by creating a username and password, then selecting the "Supplier and Investor Management System."

From there, they can access the Electronic Prequalification System to upload the necessary documents and choose the business activities they are interested in.
